What you will do:
Responsible for providing operational database services to the organization and working under the direct supervision of the systems Lead/Manager.
Possess extensive experience working with AWS RDS, Redshift, PostgreSQL, Oracle 19c, and following best practices.
Install and configure AWS Cloud Services/Database components, ensuring access, consistency and integrity. Proficient in IAC/Terraform and have database-specific experience.

Knowledge of AWS CLI, Snapshot, Route 53, S3, EC2, Cloudwatch, Replica/AZ.Experience administering databases, import/export, basic DBA tasks, table/schema maintenance, supporting RMAN for backups & recovery, and performance tuning.

Monitor all enterprise database environments, resolve issues (such as data, access, space, performance, etc.) using Cloudwatch/SNS, and have experience in OEM (not mandatory).Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.

Troubleshoot database issues and plan backup and recovery strategies.

Proficient in essential SQL and database tuning, have knowledge of Unix and Shell scripting, and experience in Windows and Unix platforms.

Nice to have experience with AWS DMS and a willingness to learn new technologies.

What you will need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably BE), with 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
Certification in AWS/Database.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of expertise in parallel operations and parallel executions.
Knowledge of AWS tools and services to monitor the health of the database and interpret performance monitoring utilities.

Ability to collaborate effectively with employees from diverse groups, willingly share knowledge and information, and analyze business needs and processes to develop alternative solutions.
