Role Description:

  • Candidates for this position must demonstrate leadership in delivering BIM and Information Management systems and processes, fostering learning and driving results.
  • Execute BIM Modeling for specific design disciplines using Revit with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure BIM models adhere to Project Information Standards.
  • Create and maintain federated models for projects.
  • Verify model accuracy based on BIM standards and project criteria.
  • Synchronize models to the cloud collaboration platform daily.
  • Manage CAD/BIM deliverables for multiple projects within budget and schedule.
  • Regularly update BIM Manager/Senior BIM Manager on work progress.
  • Ensure accurate recording of exported information.
  • Implement Quality Control measures.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines on design and model changes.
  • Adhere to BIM project workflows and content standards.
  • Prepare discipline models/content for BIM coordination meetings.
  • Export models in various formats for internal and external collaboration.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the team.
  • Prepare 2D CAD/Revit drawings and 3D Models as per client specifications.
  • Coordinate with business leads and team members for design model preparation.
  • Comply with Arcadis business management system.
  • Mentor and train junior staff.
  • Develop delivery strategies for complex projects as part of the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Knowledge of Design Automation is a plus.

Required Competencies:

  • Proficiency in UK/Euro codes, BIM standards, and structural detailing practices.
  • Experience collaborating on a cloud CDE (ProjectWise & BIM).
  • Understanding of BIM Level 2 processes and workflows.
  • Advanced proficiency in relevant tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Knowledge of ISO Standards and Processes.
  • Team player with a passion for upskilling oneself and the team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adaptability to new/challenging work environments.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BE/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized Institute.
  • 15 to 20 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in BIM Management/modeling for Rail infrastructure Projects.
  • Sound technical knowledge and academic excellence.
  • Proficiency in EIR, BEP, and other BIM SOPs.
  • Ability to manage project resources effectively.
  • Extensive 3D/4D modeling experience.
  • Knowledge of Material handling, Rendering, Lighting, and Animation.
  • Experience in international projects (UK, US, Middle East, Australia).
  • Expertise in creating General Arrangement drawings, Plans, Elevations, and Section details.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adaptability to new BIM technologies.
