Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for an Enterprise Data Center, implement, and maintain VMWare-based infrastructure and related storage.
  • Offer L3 support on end-to-end problem resolution and root cause analysis in collaboration with other functional groups, business units, and vendors.
  • Engage in design and feedback workshops to enhance services and quality of work.
  • Regularly assess existing systems and suggest continuous modifications and enhancements.
  • Tackle issues with Cloud Services and Platform.
  • Responsible for creating and updating SOPs; develop knowledge-based articles for team sharing.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Over 5 years' experience with VMWare v6 and v7, vCloud Director, vCloud Foundation, VMWare Workspace One, vSAN, NSX-T, and related products.
  • Experience with Dell EMC VxRail Hyperconverged systems including Cluster Management, monitoring nodes and drivers at the physical layer, hardware management, and link monitoring.
  • Proficient in deploying, monitoring, configuring, and supporting Data Domains, as well as familiarity with Data Domain performance standards. Experience in supporting EMC Unity.
  • Knowledgeable in Patch Management on VMware platforms and utilization of tools like Satellite and WSUS.
  • Ability to deliver Disaster Recovery, backup, and restore solutions and support using Rubrik or Veeam.
