We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Guidewire Test Automation Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in automating the testing of our Guidewire applications.

Experience : 3-10 years

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for Guidewire applications using frameworks like Selenium, API testing tools, and potentially Cucumber for BDD (Behavior Driven Development).
  • Collaborate effectively with software developers, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Create and manage test data sets to support efficient execution of automated tests.
  • Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts, providing constructive feedback to ensure maintainability, efficiency, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Participate actively in test planning, estimation, and strategy development for Guidewire projects.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in test automation tools, frameworks, and best practices within the industry.
  • Document test procedures, test results, and other relevant information for clear communication and future reference.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective automated test cases.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior test automation engineers as needed.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • 310 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Indepth knowledge of Guidewire applications and the insurance domain (a plus).
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation.
  • Experience with API testing tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) principles and potentially Cucumber.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript (preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
