You will be the lead person to provide enough confidence to technology stakeholders about their product performance and scalability health so that they can take the right decision before the product go-lives.

Responsibility

Lead a team of performance engineers in designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests on software systems.
Develop performance testing strategies and methodologies to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Identify performance bottlenecks and areas for optimization in software systems, including code, infrastructure, and configuration.
Work closely with development teams to implement performance improvements and optimizations.

Collaborate with other teams, including QA, DevOps, and product management, to ensure performance requirements are met throughout the software development lifecycle.

Monitor system performance in production environments and proactively address any issues or anomalies.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in performance engineering and share knowledge with the team.
Participate in designing the performance framework and implementation of best practices, new tools and technologies.

Participate in production issue RCA and replicate the same in lower test env and provide the recommendations to improve the performance.

You have at least 8+ years of proven experience in Performance Engineering/Testing and tuning web-based enterprise applicationsYou have excellent knowledge on performance concepts & load/soak/scalability/stress testingYou should be able to design a performance strategy by analyzing a production workload.

You should be able to implement best practices and methods to improve the process performance.

You have experience with API level performance testing and UI performance testing to improve faster load of pagesExperience in planning, estimating, designing, executing and analyzing performance testsYou should be able to implement the overall performance test strategy and lead best practices and standards set in the teamBring experience working in an agile environment, "DevOps" team or a similar multi-skilled team in a technically demanding functionYou have experience in performance tests on the web as well as mobile devices and performance test automation with Jenkins CI/CD pipelineYou have experience in diagnosing performance issues & bottlenecksYou bring strong hands-on experience with performance testing tools (such as JMeter, open source JVM tools (such as Java Mission Control, JVisualVM, JFR analysis), and APM tools (such as AppDynamics, dynaTrace, New Relic, Splunk)You have experience in performance testing and tuning microservices/ APIs running on cloud-based PaaS platforms, either on-premise or within a managed service (eg.
