Job Summary:


As a jewelry consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the perfect jewelry pieces.

Your primary focus will be on understanding customer preferences, offering expert advice, and facilitating sales transactions. You will also be tasked with maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of the jewelry display areas.

Responsibilities:

Customer Assistance:
Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and inquire about their jewelry needs. Engage in active listening to understand their preferences, occasions, and budget constraints.

Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of the jewelry products available in the store, including materials, gemstones, designs, and craftsmanship. Stay updated on current jewelry trends and industry developments.

Consultation:
Offer personalized recommendations based on customers' requirements, guiding them through the selection process. Provide information on jewelry care, maintenance, and suitability for different occasions.

Sales:
Effectively communicate the features and benefits of various jewelry pieces to drive sales. Upsell and cross-sell complementary products such as matching sets, cleaning solutions, or jewelry accessories.

Customer Relationships:
Build strong rapport with customers to foster long-term relationships and repeat business. Follow up with customers after purchases to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Visual Merchandising:

Assist in arranging and maintaining attractive jewelry displays, ensuring that products are presented in an appealing and organized manner.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.

Administrative Tasks:
Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Maintain proper documentation of sales records, customer information, and inventory counts.

Safety and Security:
Adhere to store policies and procedures regarding security measures to prevent theft or loss of merchandise. Ensure compliance with safety regulations to maintain a secure shopping environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewelry or luxury goods industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping others.
Knowledge of jewelry materials, gemstones, and terminology.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Basic computer proficiency for processing sales transactions and accessing product information.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
