Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine assembly requirements.
• Assemble and install mechanical components, parts, and equipment, including pipes, valves, pumps, and structural elements.
• Perform precision fitting, cutting, welding, and machining operations to ensure proper alignment and fit of components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to accurately fabricate and assemble parts.
• Inspect finished assemblies and conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, diagnose problems, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments, to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Adhere to safety procedures, guidelines, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
• Collaborate with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to achieve production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional vocational training or certification in mechanical fitting preferred.
• Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of mechanical principles, techniques, and practices related to assembly, installation, and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
