Your role and goals

We are seeking a talented Senior Developer to take on a crucial role in enhancing the usability and user experience of our Productsup platform. By utilizing your skills, staying abreast of the latest technologies, and collaborating with a skilled team, you will contribute to the ongoing success and evolution of our platform.

In your initial 3 months, you will:
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of the product's codebase and workflow processes.
  • Actively participate in ongoing projects to deliver tangible enhancements and advancements.
  • Suggest and implement upgrades to backend components or infrastructure to enhance efficiency and performance metrics.
  • Foster effective teamwork within the team to positively influence project outcomes and cultivate a harmonious workspace.
Within your first 6 months and beyond, you will:
  • Lead the implementation of new features and improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Team to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Identify and execute refactoring or optimization efforts in critical areas of the codebase.
  • Become a product expert and mentor other team members with your knowledge.
What you bring to the team
  • 5 years of PHP work experience
  • Proficiency in PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel or Symfony) and JS frameworks (e.g., VUE or Angular)
  • Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications
  • Deep understanding of web services, command-line programs, TDD, and SOLID design principles
  • Experience in API-first development
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous exposure to a SaaS/startup setting is a bonus
