Job description

Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and financial forecasting to support decision-making processes.

Budgeting and Planning:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop annual budgets, financial plans, and forecasts. Monitor budget adherence and provide analysis on budget variances.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Cost Management:
Analyze costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend strategies to optimize expenditure while maintaining operational efficiency.

Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow projections, and provide recommendations to improve cash management practices.

Financial Modeling:
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, assess profitability, and support business decision-making.

Risk Management:
Identify financial risks, assess their potential impact, and develop risk mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.

Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate financial information effectively to various stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and external parties.

Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as accounting, treasury, and operations, to ensure alignment and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.

Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis roles. Experience in a mid-level finance position or similar capacity is preferred.

Strong Financial Acumen:
In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial modeling. Familiarity with accounting principles and financial regulations.

Analytical Skills:
Proficient in conducting complex financial analysis, interpreting financial data, and presenting insights to support decision-making.

Attention to Detail:
Meticulous with numbers, ensuring accuracy and precision in financial reporting and analysis.

Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present financial information and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Problem-Solving Abilities:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose practical solutions.

Adaptability:
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

Ethics and Integrity:
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, ethical conduct, and maintains confidentiality of financial information.
