We're looking for aLead Software Engineer(Android)

This role is

Office Based


As a Lead Software Engineer, you willbe designing and delivering solutions that scale to meet the needs of some ofthe largest and most innovative organizations in the world.

You will work with teammembers to understand and exceed the expectations of users, and constantlypushing the technical envelope and helping CSOD deliver great results.

Workingin an agile software development framework focused on development sprints andregular release cycles, you'll own the complete feature story and mentorjuniors.

In this role, you will...Conduct detailed analysis of defined specification. Develop and document designs that meet applicable standards.
Identify, analyze and resolve moderately complex software inadequacies.
Write code, Unit tests, complete programming and perform the testing and debugging of moderately complex features following detailed specifications. Design solution for moderately complex features.
Partner with Product Analyst to groom the feature.
Participate in giving advice, guidance in team/individual discussions.
Participate in Peer and Team code review sessions.
Mentor juniors in the team and help in technical deliverables.
Establish estimates for the deliverables.
Attend requirement and/or Design review discussions as a presenter.
Own Module of the application including technical design, enhancements, code reviews and anything that goes into theModule feature/technical stack.
Work closely with the extended CSOD teams (support/services) when required.


You've Got What It Takes If You Have...Bachelor's degree in Computer Scienceor related engineering field7+ years of experience in software developmentSolid Java and Kotlin skillsStrong understanding of Android design patterns, Lifecycle and fundamentalsWorking knowledge of Android libraries and eco-systemWorking Knowledge of transaction-based systems and RDBMSKnowledge of Build management, MDM experience is a plusKnowledge of Advanced Server development frameworks and platforms, Java/Java EE knowledge is a plusExcellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologiesAbility to work with a team and continuous learning mindset.
