Position Description:


This role will work with the data and document migration team within the Research and Development Document Management Organization to assist with the migration of legacy data and document collections.

Data and document collections for migration will be identified and this role will work to prepare PDF files, assign metadata, and complete appropriate request forms for upload to designated file storage.

This individual will utilize all tools available to help with migration steps. In addition, the individual will support migration verification aspects following the defined migration strategy.

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

  • Utilize indepth knowledge of R&D data, documentation, and Regulatory submissions to identify appropriate metadata.
  • Prepare PDF files for migration (size, OCR, metadata etc.)
  • Have expertise in PDF management tools (like Adobe Acrobat Pro, DXC's Toolbox Plugin etc.) as well as utilities for comparing files and folders (Beyond Compare or equivalent tool)
  • Perform and document migration verification process according to the predefined migration strategy.
  • Comfortable asking questions.
  • Supports data and document management processes and systems and has a thorough understanding of data and document management tools to maintain proper records and ensure adequate controls.
  • Maintains positive business collaborations and partnerships.

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

  • A Degree in Science or Business, BS or BA
  • 35 years' experience in R&D documentation and Regulatory submissions

Additional Qualifications:

  • Animal Health knowledge desired
  • Familiarity with Veeva Vault and Microsoft Azure
  • Data integrity and good documentation practices knowledge
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to positively interact with multiple geographies, cultures and functional areas.
  • Selfstarter, takes initiative.
  • Timeline driven.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Quality and customer focused mindset.
  • Strong organization and an ability to multitask; able to handle multiple projects at different phases of development at the same time.
