  • Installation & configuration Netbackup
  • Troubleshooting backup failures and taking appropriate steps
  • Hands on experience on Netbackup appliance, Puredisk and Data Domain appliances.
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of SAN Client backup (Fiber Transport)
  • Clear understanding on SLP and Vault
  • Upgrading and patching the Backup servers
  • Oracle/SQL/ESX/NDMP Integration with Netbackup
  • Backup/restoration (DR) of UNIX/ Windows Host
  • Backup/Restore for Oracle/SQL/ESX/NDMP
  • Managing Internal Database of Netbackup
  • Should also have good understanding on TCP/IP concepts.
  • Need to have clear understanding on SAN Infrastructure and Architecture.
  • Managing & Troubleshooting Netbackup appliance, Tape Library and Data Domain
  • Should have exposure towards working on projects independently
  • Managing and supporting team
  • Ability to handle technical escalations
  • License Management
  • Certification will be an advantage
  • Thorough understanding of ITIL process
