General Summary:

  • As a member of the Automotive Test team, the candidate will assist in achieving 100% Testing of SW modules goals, identify issues on different modules, and communicate them to the Development Team. They will collaborate with engineers from various disciplines such as hardware, software, and systems.
  • Has a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in the following areas.
  • Possesses strong Python scripting, C/C++ programming skills for developing test applications, fixing test application SW bugs, writing test codes, and framework to test the SW modules, as well as fixing existing framework bugs.
  • Experience in working in a Qualcomm environment is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in working in a Linux environment, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • The candidate will work in a challenging environment dealing with Automotive SW and HW features based on ARM Trust zone and various OSs like QNX (Blackberry), HGS (Greenhill), Linux.
  • Strong exposure to working in Automotive test environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and very good communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR
  • PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing, and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Test Strategy and Execution: Develop comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and execute tests within the automotive domain to ensure product reliability and quality.
