Required Skills (Technical Competency):

Role Role is to support. Cost benchmarking Supply chain management. Should comparison & analysis Responsibilities- Understand the cost reduction requirements by coordinating with project lead Support estimation & schedulingAble to communicate to supplier to get quotationAble to perform should cost analysisActive participations in technical meetings (Daily & weekly meeting)Coordinate & able to raise technical queries.Preparation of technical presentations Adhere to check sheets, trackers & folder structuresMaintain & track the project status & reportsSupport of peer review of deliverablesIdea sharing & active participation in brainstorming sessionsVerify supplier capabilities.Benchmark & verify supplier quotes Coordinate with stakeholders & resolve technical challenges. Required skillset Must have Knowledge of supply chain management for metallic & non-metallic parts Knowledge of supplier evaluation process, material standards & Quality standardsGood Knowledge of primary Manufacturing process & secondary processes like Surface treatments, heat treatment, Testing.Working experience of Should cost analysis with good knowledge of Material, machine, cutting tool, Tooling for parts, assembly process, other manufacturing to read & understand complex manufacturing drawings & GD &T Good verbal & written communication skillKnowledge of Mechanical engineering fundamentals, products & assembliesWorking experience in MS Office, MS Excel, MS Power Point Presentations Good to have Knowledge of Lubrication system products PD Pumps, metering devices, motors, valves, connectors SolidWorks, AutoCAD inventor or other CAD proficiencyProficiency in Power BI, SAP, PLM is an added advantageKnowledge of Should costing tools like Boothroyd, Apriori Candidate Background and competencies Education & Experience BE/B tech or equivalent degree (Minimum) with good academic record L2 Level: Minimum 3 to 5 years' work experience in relevant technical domain Working relationship Internal L2 Level: Reports to the Technical Client Partner at Quest Global & Quest lead Work Location Pune
