We are looking for a Qlik Sense & VizLib developer who can build, test and deploy a series of new front end Qlik dashboards, that will operate as the main data insights UI for our MSS Ops stakeholders.

You will be working closely with our core data team in Google BigQuery to ingest prepared and calculated datasets for visualization, as well as deliver read-write and commentary capability through VizLib Collaboration extensions.

You will also be working closely with our BA and UX/UI specialists to meet key design requirements with the use of VizLib Library/Mashups.


Must-Have Skills:
Excellent development experience in QlikSense, VizLib Library, and VizLib Collaboration.
Experience in building QlikSense Mashups.
Expertise in data modeling and mapping, including snowflake and star schema models in Qlik.
Proficient in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Qlik script editor.
Skilled in Qlik Section Access, Reduce, and Reload techniques for data-level access restrictions.
Expertise in performant loading techniques, such as resident load and preceding load.
Proficient in set analysis and advanced aggregation functions.
Knowledge of IT methodologies and practices with solid experience in Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and ITIL principles.
Experience using collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and various board types.
BS/MS degree in Computer/Data Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, with proficiency in verbal, listening, and written communication.
Enthusiastic and willing to rapidly and independently learn and develop technical and soft skills as needed.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Qlik Compose and Qlik ReplicateExperience with NPrintingProven experience in developing, refactoring, and optimizing SQL/T-SQL procedures in BigQuery or equivalent cloud databasesGood understanding of GCP core and data products, architecting, and design patternsExperience in web development and building UI web apps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.

Experience developing BI/MI reports and dashboards in industry tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.

Skills in data preparation, wrangling, and refactoring, for example, as part of a data science pipelineExpertise in preparing, using, visualizing, and editing data in web, dashboard, or other user interfaces (3-tier architecture, CRUD procedures, etc.)Experience in GCP-based big data/ETL solutions in a DevOps/DataOps modelExperience with application monitoring and production supportExperience deploying and operating Datafusion/CDAP-based solutionsExperience building and operating CI/CD lifecycle management using Git, Jenkins, Groovy, Checkmarx, Nexus, SonarQube, etc.

Expertise in Java, Python, DataFlowBroad experience with IT development and collaboration toolsUnderstanding of IT security and application development best practicesUnderstanding of and interest in various investment products and their lifecycle, and the nature of the investment banking businessExperience working with infrastructure teams to deliver the best architecture for applicationsExperience working in a global team with different cultures

Responsibilities:
Build, test, and deploy QlikSense dashboard applicationsMeet dashboard design specifications using VizLib Library and/or MashupsDeliver dashboards with read-write capability through writeback tables and commentary, using VizLib Collaboration extensionsUse Qlik best practices to build fit-for-purpose apps that are performant for stakeholdersConnect to data from our Google BigQuery data warehouse and govern the ingest and data relationships within QlikDevelop and share reusable Qlik componentsReview, refine, interpret, and implement business and technical requirementsContribute to ongoing productivity and priorities by refining user stories, epics, and backlogs in JiraEstimate, commit, and deliver requirements to scope, quality, and time expectationsProtect the solution with appropriate authorization and authentication models, data encryption, and other security componentsManage code artifacts and CI/CD using tools like Git, Jenkins, and Google Secrets ManagerDeliver non-functional requirements, IT standards, and developer and support tools to ensure applications are secure, compliant, scalable, reliable, and cost-effectiveOnboard new data sources, design, build, test, and deploy cloud data ingest pipelines, warehouses, and data models/products (GCP DataFusion, Spark, etc.)Ensure a consistent approach to logging, monitoring, error handling, and automated recoveryWrite automated unit and regression tests as part of a test-centric development approachWrite well-commented, maintainable, and self-documenting codeFix defects and provide enhancements during the development period, and hand over knowledge, expertise, code, and support responsibilities to the support teamProtect the solution with relevant data governance, security, sovereignty, masking, and lineage capabilitiesMaintain a good quality and up-to-date knowledge base, wiki, and admin pages of the solutionPeer review colleagues' changes
