Location – Mumbai, India

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced EXIM Manager Resource. Design and implement India Import & Cross Border Logistics strategy that is aligned with India Logistics Operations Master Plan to support business growth of all Business Units in an increasing competitive and VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity) environment.

Design, develop and implement innovative and cost-efficient logistics solutions related to Import & Cross Border Logistics operations that enable business growth and promote customer intimacy.

Drive continuous improvement mindset in the organization thereby delivering value in the overall the business value chain.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a high performing India logistics organization by creating a psychologically safe environment where personnel can perform to their potential. Instill and exhibit DSM-FIRMENICH values in day-to-day operations. Instill a continuous process improvement mindset in the India logistics organization. Ensured logistics execution within budget and in a compliant manner (Safety, Quality, and Business Process). Design, Develop, and Implement innovative Import & Cross Border Logistics solutions that enable business growth in the respective markets. Support and implement Global/Regional initiatives in the region. Drive bottoms up continuous process improvement initiatives resulting in a cost effective and cost-efficient logistics operations. Effectively manage the performance of service providers (Customs Broker and Transportation Service Provider for cross border logistics) Establish and drive Monthly Business Review (MBR) with the respective service providers to ensure associated performance indicators per Service Level Agreement are met and drive CAPA in the event of non-conformance. Foster win-win collaborative partnership with service providers to ensure a cost effective and efficient, agile, and resilient logistics operations. Ensure that the agreed Service Level Agreement with the Business Units are fulfilled. Establish a robust, seamless, and flawless logistics execution process to ensure Customer Satisfaction

You bring

College or university graduate, MBA, or supply chain management master preferred. Good command of English both oral and written. APICS certification is a plus. 6 Sigma certification is a plus, Customs certification is a plus. More than 10 years of working experience with a multi-national environment. Experience in different domains of supply chain management such as sourcing, purchasing, supply chain management or logistics management. Experience in project management is a plus. Experience in managing geographically and culturally diverse organization. Ability to organize, lead, and manage a diverse team. Ability to manage ambiguity. Ability to build a high performing team. Leadership skills to mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team. Ability to instill and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Capability to act as a change agent and manage transformation within the organization. Skillful in implementing global initiatives at a regional level. Competent in addressing and managing the complexity of different logistics challenges. Effective in conflict resolution and capable of developing practical, creative solutions. Keen ability to analyze logistics processes and identify areas for improvement. Capacity to adapt strategies swiftly in response to a VUCA environment and market disruptions.
