Administrative Officer

Position Overview:

The Administrative Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient functioning of administrative operations within the hospital environment.

This position demands a blend of organizational expertise, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service delivery.

The Administrative Officer reports to the Hospital Administrator or relevant department head.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee daytoday administrative functions within the hospital.
  • Maintain and enhance administrative processes and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement and enforce administrative policies in line with hospital regulations and standards.

Staff Management:

  • Supervise administrative staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer training and development opportunities as necessary.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and excellence.

Records Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance, organization, and security of patient records and other confidential documents.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to recordkeeping and data protection.

Resource Allocation:

  • Manage budgetary allocations for administrative expenses, ensuring costeffectiveness and fiscal responsibility.
  • Procure necessary supplies and equipment and maintain inventory records.

Patient Services:

  • Liaise with various departments to optimize patient services and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among hospital staff, departments, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and events as required.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries.

Emergency Preparedness:

  • Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans and protocols to ensure the hospital's readiness to respond to crises or disasters.
  • Coordinate drills and training sessions to enhance staff preparedness.

Salary:
₹15,000.00 per month
