DataWeave - Associate Technical Architect - Server Side Component

Responsible for :

  • Be fully responsible for the quality of code for which the team is responsible (either through personal review or thoughtful delegation)
  • Take full responsibility for delivering solutions into production (working through operations teams)
  • Be responsible for training and mentoring developers on the team and recommending actions around capacity planning & career planning.
  • Work with the technical project management to create and maintain a prioritized backlog and schedule for the team
  • Be responsible for architectural decisions in consultation with other members of the engineering leadership
  • Provide technical leadership to multiple teams of both in office/remote software engineers.
  • Be able to diagnose and troubleshoot production problems.
  • Identify technical risks to the sprint commitments early on and to ensure we meet business objectives.
  • Review Pull Requests and do code reviews.
  • Ensure clarity on NFR and address these requirements during the Architecture definition phase & make sure these are realized during the engineering and deployment phase

Skills / Experience Required :

  • 8+ years of experience in core software development
  • Should have experience working in product based companies building data products.
  • Leading teams successfully in a dynamic, fast time to market and customer focused environment
  • Working with small, agile development teams.
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting solutions with focus on serverside web applications, REST APIs, and / or microservices
  • Should have strong experience in working with Python and related technologies.
  • Should have good experience on below technologies
  • Databases: MySQL, NoSQL (DynamoDB), Postgres, HBase
  • DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow
  • Proficient in creating technical documents like Architecture views, Technology Architecture blueprint and design specification
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery using Azure DevOps or similar
  • Should have experience in creating and managing Cloud infrastructure for deploying and scaling the application.
  • Good experience in Data pipelines or distributed message queues
  • DB Index Management, Partitioning and System Catalogs
  • Performance tuning, Query tuning by generating and explaining plan for SQL queries.
  • Knowledge and handson work experience in Docker is a must.
  • Passion for software security
  • Eagerness to learn new technology and solve problems
  • Inclusive, rollupyoursleeves work ethic show a willingness to participate in daily workloads when needed to meet deadlines

  • HIPAA, GDPR, and other relevant compliance experience.
