Are you ready to take on a role that will empower you to lead and take on more ownership? We are looking for a Lead Consultant for our Security Operations Center (SOC) who is comfortable stepping up and taking ownership, willing to constantly explore and challenge the status quo.

Accountabilities
:

As a Lead Consultant, you will engage in the detection, investigation, analysis, and activities related to Digital Forensic Investigation (DFI).

You will provide subject matter expertise in threat intelligence, security tools, and emerging threats to improve the SOC's capabilities. Your role will involve investigating and analysing sophisticated security alerts and incidents to determine root cause and impact. You will proactively hunt for Indicators of Compromise (IOC) and assess vulnerabilities within the organization's IT infrastructure. You will also participate in on-call rotation and handle escalations of high-severity incidents.

Collaboration with internal teams to remediate security incidents and implement corrective actions aligned with CIRT will be a key part of your role.


Essential Skills/Experience:
Extensive experience in cyber security attack phases, incident response, and threat hunting.
Proficiency in using SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, EDR solutions, and other security technologies.

Solid understanding of security concepts, frameworks, and methodologies (SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS).Strong knowledge of network protocols, malware analysis, and cyber threat intelligence.

Superb communication and leadership skills to effectively coordinate incident response efforts.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in cyber security or information technology or equivalentProfessional qualifications in information security management such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, MCSE, MCT.

(Nice to have)Experienced Security Expert with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Strong knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, attack methods, vulnerabilities, common exploits and mitigation techniques, local and global regulations, and requirements.

Innovative and bringing new ideas to improve processes.
Experience with cloud / on-premises security technologies.
Familiar with Window Endpoint and Server, MAC, Linux Operation system.
