The Role:


As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Shape Construction, your main objectives will be:


  • Scale our REST API using Ruby On Rails
  • Enhance our codebase and patterns
  • Strengthen our testing processes

Your Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement efficient, reliable Ruby code
  • Develop and scale a RESTful API for Shape's applications
  • Adapt the API's codebase to meet business requirements
  • Emphasize the significance of testing in all development phases (TDD)
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, utilizing diagnostic tools for code refactoring
