Job Title:
Freight Broker

Compensation:

Commission (Commission Payment Bi-weekly)

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize existing network and develop new leads to expand client base
  • Identify reputable and safe carriers for quality service
  • Provide shipping quotes and book orders with carriers
  • Assist in preparing carriers for loads
  • Collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers for efficient logistics management
  • Maintain communication on transit updates and delivery statuses
  • Stay updated on freight carrier services for customer acquisition and retention

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years of freight brokerage experience in the United States
  • Established network of clients with a proven track record of bringing them onboard
  • Proficiency in DAT, TRUCK STOP, ITS (TMS), Macropoint, ELD, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Shipments like FCL, LCL, Dry Van, Drayage, Flat Bed, and Reefers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets and maintain customer relationships
