Role Overview:
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our banking and wealth management platforms.
Leveraging your expertise in SRE tools and technologies, as well as your deep understanding of the banking domain, you will lead troubleshooting efforts, analyze system behaviors, and provide proactive solutions to enhance the overall quality of service.
Responsibilities:
Lead troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of unexpected systems behaviors that impact the quality of service.
Gather and analyze metrics to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
Provide a proactive approach to our clients' workloads, anticipating failures, automating tasks, ensuring availability, and delivering a superior customer experience.
Communicate issue/resolution status effectively to project teams and management through written and verbal channels.Provide reactive, break-fix support to address any immediate concerns or issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.8-12 years of experience in any domainHands-on experience (3-5 years) with SRE tools and technologies, including:CI/CD pipelines (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) using tools such as Terraform and YAML.Azure infrastructure components, such as Service Bus, Databricks, Function Apps, and Logic Apps.
AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
Strong soft skills, including:
Ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and analyze complex system behaviors.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and client workload management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Capacity to provide reactive support and effectively communicate issue resolutions.
