Role Description

ILIOS Power is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer focused on solar photovoltaic systems for a full-time position based in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing solar power plants, with a strong background in electrical engineering.

The role involves project management, planning, and implementation to ensure top-notch quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and engineering of solar power plant projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project requirements.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for optimal placement of solar installations.
  • Develop detailed system designs to enhance energy production and efficiency.
  • Perform electrical engineering calculations to optimize system performance.
  • Select suitable components based on performance and cost.
  • Coordinate with different teams for seamless project execution.
  • Prepare technical documentation to support project activities.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Stay updated on solar technology advancements to incorporate innovative solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in solar photovoltaic power plant design.
  • Proficiency in solar system design and electrical engineering software.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and solar technologies.
  • Experience in project management and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in renewable energy project development is a plus.
  • Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
