In addition to CPUs, Arm builds high performance system IP like cache-coherent interconnects, interrupt controllers, and memory management units.

Our partners combine Arm CPUs with these system IP, to build sub-system solutions across pioneering market segments like mobiles, servers, AI, automotive, IoT, etc.

Our team is responsible for carrying out Performance Analysis on Arm CPUs and System IP put together as SoCs in pre- and post-Silicon environments.


Responsibilities:

As part of our team, you will push Arm CPUs & System IP to their Performance limits – targeting the IP's internal architecture and how it interacts with the rest of the system.

The role involves benchmarking and analysing Performance of Arm IPs and SoCs, characterising benchmarks and workloads, helping our partners achieve the best possible performance using Arm technology.

You will work with cross-site design teams, performance teams throughout Arm and product marketing to push Arm IP to its limits.

There will be opportunities to make a difference by actively contributing to Arm performance analysis methodologies which are improved continuously to match design advancements.

Mentoring and/or Managing junior engineers in the team is part of the role.

Required Skills and Experience :5 to 12 Years of experienceUnderstanding of CPU or SoC architecture and microarchitectureHands-on experience in Performance Analysis of complex CPUs/SoCsExperience in leading or managing a teamExperience with C/C++/Python or other languagesHW and SW debugging skills on Silicon or Pre-SiliconGreat interpersonal and communication skills and desire to work as part of a team"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience :Familiarity with hardware acceleration platforms like Emulation and FPGAExperience with Arm or x86 AssemblyExperience in workload profiling and characterisationIn Return:
