We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist.In this role, you will:
Engage with business leaders, operations teams, product owners, and technology teams to align project goals with organizational objectives.
Manage Skilled resource to deliver DevOps projects on time with strict adherence with security compliance.
Liaise with other engineers, architects and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service's direction.
Provide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end-to-end journeys, ensuring they have an excellent domain knowledge.
Leading continuous improvement on our own solution architecture, tooling, and processes to increase productivity and quality, reduce toil and achieve cost saving.
Driving innovation and engineering maturity uplift of the team and the wider department by sharing, promoting, and experimenting new ways of working, technology and practices, and share successes and/or lessons learntWorking with global diverse teamsThe job holder will adhere to, and be able to demonstrate adherence to, internal controls and will implement the Group compliance policy by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures.
The job holder will implement measures to contain compliance risk across the business area. This will be achieved by liaising with Compliance and Controls departments about business initiatives at the earliest opportunity.Demonstrate adherence to internal controls.
This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.
Works with the (Service Management Lead) to ensure operational integrity is effectively managed and that performance standard and the service delivered meets HSBC/customer requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:Drive Strategic goals such as Cost optimisation, Architectural accuracy, performance optimised culture.
Strong knowledge of conventional technology, VM, Middleware, Niche tech stackExpert level knowledge of Cloud and Various control/governance.
Proven experience in managing and building relationship with business partners and customer service and stakeholders up and down the chain.
Experience in IT Infrastructure support , Production Support, Application Support & infrastructure Support.Automation skills with a mind set to explore and exploit the technologies we could and should use safely and efficiently within the Bank.
Revamp Tooling and Automation to ensuring monitoring & alerting setup is in place to flag off real issues in timely manner.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact independently with the global and regional Stakeholders from various IT & business teams.
Ability to learn proprietary tools and process needed for accomplishing day to day task.Confident and able to communicate effectively at all levels of engagement within HSBC and with external Service ProvidersProven abilities in building relationships, relationship management and influencing across functional teams.
Knowledge and experience in public/private Cloud, open-source/commercial ML/AI technologies and platforms will be beneficialExcellent communication, leadership, analytical and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong understanding and troubleshooting skills in Networking, Database,Linux operating systems issues and performance tuning.
Strong appetite in learning new skills and practices, and challenge status-quo to improve overall performance.-
