Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and analyses tailored to the organization's needs.
  • Create presentation materials to communicate key findings and recommendations to the management team.
  • Undertake other assignments as necessary, within the scope of expertise and capabilities.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Financial Statement Review:
  • Review the organization's financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to assess overall financial health and performance.
  • Financial Performance Analysis:
  • Analyze financial performance metrics to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Processes Assessment:
  • Assess the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of financial processes, systems, and controls within the organization, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Cost Reduction and Revenue Enhancement:
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement to improve overall financial performance and profitability.
  • Financial Modeling and Forecasting:
  • Develop customized financial models and forecasts tailored to the organization's specific needs, supporting strategic decision-making processes.
  • Capital Structure Optimization:
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing capital structure to ensure efficient utilization of resources and manage liquidity effectively.
  • Financial Policies and Procedures Development:
  • Assist in developing financial policies, procedures, and guidelines to strengthen internal controls and governance within the organization.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to effectively communicate findings, insights, and recommendations, ensuring alignment and understanding across departments.
  • Invoicing and Financial Operations Oversight:
  • Prepare invoices for clients and vendors, overseeing the development and operations of the finance departments within the company.
  • Financial Policy and Budget Review:
  • Review new financial policies and budgets within the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial health.
  • Financial Reporting and Reconciliation:
  • Create and analyze financial monthly or annual reports for senior managers, supervising the preparation of account reconciliations.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting and Compliance:
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and ensure compliance with tax and financial reporting standards, monitoring and enforcing adherence.
  • Stakeholder Mediation and Advisory:
  • Mediate between employees, shareholders, investors, and organizations on financial issues, advising the board of directors on financial decisions.
  • Investment Strategy Development:
  • Develop investment strategies to increase the company's working capital for business expansion, aligning with organizational goals and financial forecasts.
  • Business Plan Preparation:
  • Create business plans based on financial forecasts and analysis, supporting the organization's growth and success objectives.
  • Financial Reporting and Record Monitoring:
  • Prepare the company's financial reports and monitor accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Goal Support:
  • Support the organization's goals by ensuring its financial position facilitates success, providing guidance and strategic direction where necessary.
  • Filing for necessities documentation:
  • Assist the organization in fulfilling the necessary legal and regulatory requirements by facilitating the filing of required certificates as mandated by Indian laws and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of financial consulting experience, preferably with a chartered accounting background and experience in financial services.
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
  • Proven track record of delivering actionable insights to improve financial performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
  • Experience with (specific financial software/tools).
