We are actively building new features using Alexa, machine learning, and other AWS technologies that re-shape the way customers browse, discover, and consume web content.

We operate like a startup in a big company - our engineers work closely with product management and user experience designers to build best-in-class services and apps.

Our engineers are owners who identify, define, and build solutions that delight millions of customers every day.

What you'll do:

  • Be an integral part of an exceptionally talented team. Working in a fast paced environment with rapid feature delivery to our customers.
  • Brainstorm, build and ship new and exciting features that revolutionize the way people browse the web. You have the opportunity to own a features/experiences from inception to delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of noninternship professional software development experience
  • 8+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
