Receptionist

Attending to patient enquiries / telephone calls and all activities relating to patient registration, admission, billing, report delivery and giving all possible care with a "SMILE".
- Supervising the maintenance of All Computers, laptops and related machines at front desk.
- Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone.
- Answering the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette.
- Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized
- Registering new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal information.
- Handling all billing related modules.
- Facilitate patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff.
- Respond to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner.
- Protect patient confidentiality, making sure protected health information is secured by not leaving Display of computer screen in plain sight and logging off the computer before leaving it unattended.
- Maintaining the work culture and working in harmony with peers.
- Attending to all enquiries related to official & personal calls. Guiding the patients to various OPD/Clinics/Dept
- Controlling all incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
- Receiving mail / packets in the counter and helping in sending across to the office of administration.
- Issuing passes to the patients / attendants.
- Responsible for giving information brochure to all patients' attendants.
- Making necessary arrangements for female attendant/sweeper etc. for the patient's needs.
- Perform duties with a professional attitude and appearance according to the functional service standard of the hospital
- Responsible for keeping the attendance records of doctors / consultation / registration / billing.
- Sending messages to patient's relatives/attendants and doctors.
- To be familiar with the Security and fire rules/regulations of the Hospital and its implementation in the Lobby/Waiting Room area.
- Preparation of patients file and keeping admission/registration records.
- To coordinate with pharmacy, reception, labs etc to confirm their various charges.
- Record necessary information in the logbook.
