The Role:

We have a unique product culture that allows us to create products that resonate with customers. Customer focus, empowerment, full ownership, and empowerment are the pillars that drive this culture. Our Product Managers are in charge of owning and leading a vital product and business challenge from start to finish - identifying and prioritizing issues, finding solutions, and developing the Go-To-Market strategy. They oversee all aspects of their area of focus - from establishing the yearly roadmap to managing bi-weekly sprints; all while cooperating with internal and external partners. Our PMs have the authority to make crucial decisions, and we promote a culture that embraces failures, as they contribute to taking calculated risks. We are currently seeking to establish support for integrating merchants on different storefront platforms like Shopify, Woocommerce, Magento, and others. Our goal is to create the simplest, quickest, and most user-friendly process for integration with these platforms, among other objectives.

As a Product Manager for Card Payments, you will have a significant role in influencing the future of card transactions in India. You will be responsible for managing a high-volume, essential charter, with a significant impact on the business. This position will provide you with the chance to pioneer innovative solutions specific to India that will shape the global landscape of card payments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build Customer Empathy: Regularly engage with customers to grasp their needs directly and stay informed about customer preferences through various insights - both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Develop Strategy: Establish long-term strategies and quarterly plans to realize the product vision and generate outcomes.
  • Conceptualize new solutions: Conceptualize products with a customer-centric, data-driven, and iterative approach. Ensure a platform-oriented and long-term viewpoint in conceptualizing products while prioritizing initiatives based on value.
  • Develop products: Work with Engineering and partners in the ecosystem to create products that are adored by customers. Produce detailed product specifications, effectively manage priorities, and oversee each product launch to deliver features and products punctually.
  • Launch products: Create and execute Go-To-Market strategies in collaboration with Product Marketing. Serve as the internal and external advocate and authority for your designated area.
  • Ecosystem collaboration: Initiate collaboration with ecosystem partners to co-create innovative products.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand user requirements, industry trends, and the regulatory environment for payments in India.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, risk, compliance) to introduce and implement new card products.
  • Bonus Points: Familiarity with the payments ecosystem, particularly card payments, is advantageous.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • You are entrepreneurial and have a drive to resolve problems end-to-end.
  • You hold 4-6 years of Product Management experience.
