About this role:

Customer Excellence Data and Analytics (CEDA) at Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Analytics Manager who will be responsible for supporting projects Advanced Analytics. Managing & mentoring analytics consultants and drive them towards achieving project milestones and career goals. The CEDA advanced analytics team is responsible to design end to end automated solution to provide support on data driven review, root cause analysis (using NLP) and designing high performance visualization dashboard to track and monitor key business performance indicators in quality assurance space. The candidate is expected to identify opportunities to improve customer experience using deep dive analysis, exploratory data analysis, root cause analysis and developing automated solutions to address key business problems using multiple source of data and by applying advanced analytics solution and text mining.

In this role, you will:
  • Spearhead the analytics strategy across the organization, leading a team of data scientists and analysts to drive business growth and efficiency. Your role involves mentoring team members, setting departmental goals, and developing a roadmap for data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Utilize your expert-level skills in SAS, SQL, Tableau, ThoughtSpot and Python to analyze complex datasets and extract actionable insights. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of sophisticated analytics models that address key business challenges.
  • Leverage natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics techniques to extract insights from unstructured data. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and enhancing models for KPI analysis, customer feedback analysis, and other text-based insights that can influence product development and improve customer experience strategies.
  • Employ large language models and machine learning algorithms to create predictive models, automate decision-making processes, and innovate solutions for complex business problems. Your knowledge in these areas will drive forward projects that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and new product development.
  • Work closely with other departments, including technology, Business partners, and upper management, to align the analytics strategy with business / company objectives. Effective communication skills are required to translate complex analytical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of the latest trends and advancements in analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Encourage a culture of innovation within the team by exploring new tools, technologies, and methodologies that can enhance analytical capabilities and business outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and ethical guidelines in data management and analysis. Champion the importance of data integrity, security, and privacy within the organization.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in data analytics or a related field, with a proven track record of leading analytics teams and projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in SAS, SQL, Python, NLP, text analytics, large language models, and machine learning.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic thinker.
  • Strong written and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Must have tool knowledge are in Teradata, Python, Tableau, Unix and SAS Expertise
  • Hands on experience in handling end-to-end analytical projects starting from problem structuring, solution design, deep-dive, research and final outcome delivery
  • Sound knowledge in project documentation framework
  • Must have consultative skills to have the ability to rationalize business need and solution design from business requirements
  • Ability to perform analysis, build hypothesis, draw conclusions and communicate clear, actionable recommendation to business leaders & partners.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
Desired Qualifications:
  • Hands on experience in advanced text analytics and NLP techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Having exposure in text analytics projects is a plus
  • Experience in creating Business Intelligence visualizations using Power BI, ThoughtSpot
  • Experience developing operational reporting and performing complex data analysis
  • Detail oriented, results driven, and has the ability to navigate in a quickly changing and high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Expected to learn the business aspects quickly, multitask and prioritize between projects.
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven and performance-oriented; possesses a strong work ethic and good team player.
