As a Sr.

Cloud Engineer, you will work collaboratively with Development teams to help deploy and operate their applications on the AWS/Azure cloud platform.

Help automate and streamline our operations and processes.

Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our non-prod and production environments.

You will be responsible for developing tools that ensure availability, automation, performance, efficiency, scaling, monitoring, and emergency response of the various cloud implementation work undertaken by TR teams.

You will use your deep understanding of system availability, architecture, people, systems, and processes to continuously improve uptime, performance, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

About the RoleIn this opportunity as Senior Cloud Engineer, you will:
Active member of a team of cloud engineers who will be responsible on provisioning public Cloud Native platform infrastructure.

Partner with businesses and application teams to accelerate Cloud migration and define cloud deployment strategies, based on application and business requirements.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) scripts to deploy cloud resources through pipelines and automate application installs.

Create, operationalize, and provide associated runbooks and documentations for cloud patterns services to be used by varies products for a self-serve modelWork closely with the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), and cloud architectures to adopt strategies and ensuring common TR Technology standard across all cloud implementations.

Educate and provide guidance to internal teams of experts to build effective Cloud Native solution.
Continually evolve deployment methods and processes to effectively deliver products across all environments.

Keep up to date with emerging cloud technology trends – open source and cloud vendors such as AWS, Azure, and GCPCollaborate deeply with multiple levels of technical staff across various geographical locations in a dynamic agile team environment.

Being the Cloud Native advocate to challenge status quo and ensure leveraging the full capabilities of the Cloud PlatformMay provide technical support to operations or other development teamsMakes suggestions for problem solutions or software enhancements, which will typically be reviewed by a more senior developer.

Ensure that all cloud solutions follow internally defined security and compliance standards and controlsParticipates in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements, provide design options, and provide work breakdown and estimates of work.

Lead process improvement following investigative, analytic or diagnostic servicesProvides status updates for own scope of work within projects.

Identifies and resolves standard technical and operational problemsDecisions involve interpretation of data, planning own work, or refining the methods and techniques to be usedCommunicates information effectively and checks for understandingResponds to non-standard requests from customers; investigates with assistance from others as neededExplains difficult issues and obtains agreement as neededAbout YouYou're a fit for the role of Senior Cloud Engineer if your background includes:Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent with minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in cloud engineering.

Possess deep and broad knowledge and experience in general IT and public cloud, including Networking, Infrastructure, Security, Storage, Operating Systems (Linux/Windows).Experience with AWS and/or Azure Cloud infrastructure provisioning, automation, infrastructure as code, automated application deployment using Cloud Formation, CDK, and TerraformExperience with core cloud services includes, but not limited to, EC2, S3, Azure Virtual Machine, Azure Storage, ALB, Route53, Azure DNS, etc.

Experience with Relational and NoSQL Databases such as RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, PostgresSQL, and ElastiCache, etcExperience with AWS and/or Azure Messaging/Events, Firewall, Security, and Identity/ Access servicesExperience with Serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda and Azure FunctionsExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, AWS Cloudwatch, and AzureExperience with Docker and Container services such ECS, Container Instances, Fargate, EKS, AKSExperience with CI\CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, and GitHub actionsSkilled in Software Development Life Cycles, Agile Project Management framework, and Azure DevOps boardExcellent problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Good communication and collaboration skills with onsite/remote teamsAbility to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Passion for customer success via deep desire to exceed expectations and Service Level AgreementsCurious, passionate, and driven to learn new technologies.

AWS and/or Azure certifications is preferred.
