How you'll spend your day

Responsible for smooth operation of ZLD plant (ETP, RO, MVRE, MEE, ATFD) & other environment protection equipments. Responsible for proper treatment of effluent i.e. the final effluent parameters remain with in limit as per the statutory norms & ZLD requirement. Ensure that all environmental performance parameters for waste water, ambient air, stacks and work place monitoring are tested as per the requirement and schedule. To guide and to impart training to the ETP operator and Chemist regarding the operational procedures and laboratory test procedures. To prepare all records related to statutory requirement and operational requirement and Environment Liaison with Environment Authorities. Timely renewal of consents and application for amendment in consents based on change in any product portfolio. Keeping records related to statuary requirements and day to day working records related to ETP, RO and other environment related activities. To conduct training and motivational activities on Environment to increase awareness at site. To establish the ETP lab and procedure for the treatment of all environmental related parameters. Plan and prepare the requirement for the new Pollution control equipments/ devices. Coordinate with Project department for the timely erection & installation of new pollution control equipments. To co-ordinate with Engineering & production department in raw water consumption reduction and waste water reduction program. To inspect, check and ensure that there is no soil and under ground water contamination due to leakage and spillage of chemicals/ effluents. Implementation of TEVA Global Environment Standards at site. Timely submission of yearly Global Environment Footprint report. Providing environment related solution at site for existing and new products. Implementation of 5S and OPEX in ETP plant.

Your experience and qualifications

M.sc in Chemistry or BE/B.Tech in chemical Experience between 12 to 18 years in ETP
