Design at ET Money

When it comes to doing anything with "money", we believe the biggest problem that users have is the perception that "it's going to be complex". That leads to anxiety and hence low attention span and thereby no action. ET Money's Product Design philosophy is based on solving these challenges when the user is interacting with the products in a mobile-first world. We want to bring confidence, assurance and reliability with an underlying foundation of simplicity. The role of the product design team is hence a critical one & is geared toward delivering consumer delight.

Design at ET Money values customer-centricity, collaboration, autonomy, growth, community, recognition, and fun. Designers work closely with cross-functional teams, have the freedom to make decisions, and are encouraged to pursue personal interests and explore new technologies and techniques. Role

As we are growing fast there is already a larger array of products - ET Money Genius, MF, NPS, FD, Insurance, and Lending which solves all aspects of a user's financial life. This role involves leading a project end to end in terms of conceptualization to design, collaborating with Tech, Product, Ops & Support. You will also mentor junior designers in the team. This role involves staying updated on the latest technological changes and an eye for detail to inculcate these changes.

Designation: Senior Product Designer

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • You will get complete ownership of the design vision and strategy for digital products and experiences, driving innovation and impact.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, data scientists, and business leaders, to understand customer needs and develop creative solutions.
  • You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that align with the company's design standards, with a focus on fast execution and attention to detail.
  • You will ensure consistency in the company's design language and style across products, establishing and refining design systems and guidelines.
  • You need to stay ahead of the curve, actively researching and exploring the latest design trends and technologies in the industry.
  • You will be the design ambassador, evangelizing design decisions to executive stakeholders and actively participating in the wider design community.
  • You need to nurture, manage, and lead a team of designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous learning.

Must have skill set:

  • You must have 4+ years of experience in product design.
  • You must be self-motivated and comfortable working in ambiguous environments, with a passion for driving change and creating impact.
  • You need to have exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to senior stakeholders.
  • You must have proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and InVision, with a keen eye for detail.
  • You must have a deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies and experience with user research and testing, with a data-driven approach to design.
  • You need to have a strong track record of delivering successful and impactful digital products in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
