About this Opportunity
We are looking for a Copywriter to create, edit & proofread copy for Target's own brands.

You will be required to collaborate with a team of art directors, product engineers, project managers & business councils to create copy for packaging.

There will be partners in MPLS with whom you will have to liaise, collaborate and communicate with on a regular basis.

You will have to consistently come up with innovative, eye-catching work that is in line with the Target brand, which should increase guest loyalty and, ultimately, drive sales.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit and proofread content for Target's own brands
  • Collaborate & brainstorm with creative teams
  • Learn & use new tools & software that the role requires
  • Manage multiple brands, balance timelines and present work at various forums
  • Write copy that is consistently intune with the Target voice and stay current with the latest editorial, cultural and design trends
  • Interact with partners in Minneapolis on projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum 46 years at an Advertising or Branding agency
  • A completed 3year college degree
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating breadth of writing capabilities
  • Strong understanding of US culture & trends
  • Excellent command over the English language, both spoke & written
  • Experience in branding & packaging copywriting preferred
