- Conducting daily briefings with staff at floor level. Managing and supervising all tasks of the team.
- Ensuring cleanliness of guest rooms, balconies, corridors, linen rooms, and housekeeping pantries according to set standards and procedures.
- Supervising public areas.
- Replenishing guest supplies and promptly attending to guest requests.
- Dealing with reports on damage or malfunction in hotel rooms.
- Maintaining equipment in a proper state of cleanliness.
- Keeping a detailed section floor report.
- Conducting regular room checklists.
- Reporting unusual behavior/activities on floors to Executive Housekeeper.
- Accurately recording room status in the allocated section.
- Assisting Executive Housekeeper in evaluating team members' attendance and performance.
Other Responsibilities
- Being knowledgeable in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
- Attending all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned.
- Maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Performing other assigned duties by the Management.
- Establishing and maintaining effective employee relationships.
- Demonstrating strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills.
- Results and service oriented with attention to details.
- Ability to multi-task and work well in high-pressure situations.
- A team player and builder.
- A motivator and self-starter.
- Presenting a professional appearance at all times.
Knowledge and Experience
- Primary school education.
- Good oral proficiency in English.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role. Speaking other languages and basic local language understanding is a plus.
