Responsibilities :

P&L Management :
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve revenue and profit targets set for the heavy automotive division.
  • Analyze financial data and generate reports to assess the division's performance against set goals.
  • Identify areas of improvement to enhance profitability and Strategy :
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of the organization.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of operational plans.
  • Identify opportunities for process and productivity improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
Team Management :
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear objectives and performance expectations for team members, ensuring alignment with division and organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for individual and team development.
Vendor Management :
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors, optimizing cost and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Monitor vendor performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
Risk Mitigation :
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate operational and financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement measures to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
Continuous Improvement :
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for innovation and operational excellence.
  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, implementing feedback mechanisms, and initiating relevant training programs.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the heavy automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate data and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving performance.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
