Responsibilities :
P&L Management :
- Develop and execute plans to achieve revenue and profit targets set for the heavy automotive division.
- Analyze financial data and generate reports to assess the division's performance against set goals.
- Identify areas of improvement to enhance profitability and Strategy :
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of the organization.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of operational plans.
- Identify opportunities for process and productivity improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations for team members, ensuring alignment with division and organizational goals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for individual and team development.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors, optimizing cost and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Monitor vendor performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate operational and financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Implement measures to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for innovation and operational excellence.
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, implementing feedback mechanisms, and initiating relevant training programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the heavy automotive industry.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate data and make sound decisions.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving performance.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
