Job Description:
Draftsman (3D Modeling and AutoCAD)

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings/models based on project specifications and requirements.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to understand project objectives and design criteria.
Create accurate technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD software.
Utilize 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, SolidWorks) to generate 3D models of structures, components, and systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and regulations in all technical drawings and models.
Review and revise drawings as necessary to address feedback, changes, or modifications during the design process.
Coordinate with project team members to ensure timely delivery of drawings and models according to project schedules.
Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for all drawings and projectrelated materials.
Stay updated on advancements in drafting technology and software to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Assist in preparing presentations, renderings, and visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in architectural, engineering, or construction industries.
Proficiency in AutoCAD software and 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, SolidWorks).
Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, including scale, dimensioning, and annotation.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and models.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Problemsolving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues creatively.
Prior experience in construction documentation and project coordination is a plus.
