Their in-house eCommerce suite, Big Fish, is trusted by prominent e-commerce companies in the US and India.

Role Description

This position is a full-time Developer/Senior Developer role focusing on Adobe Commerce in Bengaluru and Gurgaon. As a Developer, you'll be in charge of developing and maintaining Adobe Commerce websites, integrating custom functionalities, resolving issues, and collaborating with various teams. Your main task will involve understanding client needs and translating them into technical solutions. To excel in this role, you need solid skills in Adobe Commerce and proficiency in both front-end and back-end web development.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Commerce development and customization
  • Strong expertise in front-end web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience in back-end web development using PHP and MySQL
  • Understanding of web application security and performance optimization
  • Experience with version control systems, specifically Git
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Superb problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience with the Magento eCommerce platform for creating and managing top-tier eCommerce websites.
  • Extensive knowledge in Magento 2.x implementation.
  • Designing the technical aspects of the application.
  • Overseeing Magento projects from start to finish, including scope adjustments.
  • Enhancing code quality, performance, stability, and scalability.
  • Boosting the technical expertise of the Magento team through training.
  • Proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing RDBMS databases, especially MySQL/MariaDB.
  • Experience in planning, executing, and finalizing high-quality software projects with tools like Jira.
  • Client relationship management, project coordination, and delivery management prowess.
  • Implementation of iterative development methodologies like Agile.
  • Knowledge of microservices and serverless computing (if possible).
  • Mentoring the PHP/Magento team.

Minimum Requirements:

· 3+ years of PHP development experience with a focus on Magento.
