AboutRole

Shouldhave a Technical Support Specialist quality which will includeproviding daytoday technical support for the installationconfiguration and deployment of Apple computing environments.Should demonstrate expertise as a Mac and Windows administratorparticularly with applications managed via MDM. The ideal candidatewill possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills alongwith the ability to provide professional and friendly service tousers. Additionally the technician will be required to offer remotesupport to our users.

Responsibilities

  • Creatingdesktop/laptop build images for Apple endpoints.
  • Packagingsoftware and design distribution methods using JAMF and othertools.
  • OS& Application Patch Management for Mac clients
  • Designingand implementing solutions for Mac desktop clients and iOS devices
  • Creatingand communicating systems policies and application standards forApple devices
  • Performing2nd & 3rd level support and identify root cause withstrategic solutions to problems for the Mac/iOS environment.
  • Managing& Administering Google Suite environment
  • Addressuser tickets regarding hardware software and networking.
  • Createtechnical documentation and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Participatein the implementation and support of ITrelated policies.


Requirements
  • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
  • 58 years of relevant working knowledge and understanding of the MacOS
  • Goodworking knowledge of JAMF products particularly Composer and Casperis required.
  • Abilityto troubleshoot application issues on the Mac OS is required.
  • HasExperience Creating Macintosh Application Installer Packages IsRequired.
  • Experiencein Application & OS Patch Management
  • Scriptingexperience (Unix/AppleScript) is an asset.
  • Experiencein Google suite is an asset.
  • Understandingon Infrastructure network and advance knowledge on networking.
  • JamfCertified Expert JCE certification
  • Familiaritywith cloud computing platforms like Google WorkspaceAdministrator.


5- 8 years of relevant working knowledge and understanding of theMac OS Good working knowledge of JAMF products, particularlyComposer and Casper is required. Ability to troubleshootapplication issues on the Mac OS is required. Has ExperienceCreating Macintosh Application Installer Packages Is Required.Experience in Application & OS Patch Management Scriptingexperience (Unix/AppleScript) is an asset.
