Role Description The opportunity Unity's Accounting team is looking to hire a Senior Accountant that will be an integral part of our accounting team. This role will have an immediate impact on our month-end close process as well as strengthening our overall reconciliation process. The ideal candidate will have an opportunity work in a collaborative, fast-paced Unity, you'll make a difference. Are you available to work during these Non-Shift hours? What youll be doing Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with precision, including the preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliation schedules. Conduct thorough research and documentation of accounting treatments for non-standard revenue transactions in accordance with US GAAP. Collaborate with various teams to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of Unity's financial close procedures, and provide assistance with monthly reporting and flux analysis. Aid in the creation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and SEC deliverables, ensuring they meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders. Drive process improvements and automation efforts, maintain standard operating procedures, and support audit requirements while assisting management with special projects and ad-hoc tasks. What were looking for Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification required Strong knowledge of ASC 606, Revenue from Contract with Customers Strong team player that is willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment Superb communication skills, both written and oral Knowledge of excel at an intermediate level You might also have Experience with BI Systems, Salesforce, Zuora Revenue, Workday Financials and/or NetSuite Ability to work with team members spread across multiple locations. Proven attention to detail and eager to learn and try new things
