New Delhi, IndiaEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for monitoring security controls for information systems. Monitors networks against unauthorized infiltration, modification, destruction, or disclosure. Enforces and communicates established security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, and telecommunications. Configures and maintains all network security configurations. Performs tests on company's firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Exhibits an understanding of commonly used security controls and best practices.

The security support monitors security events from the various SOC entry channels (SIEM, Tickets, Email and Phone), based on the security event severity, escalate to managed service support teams, tier 2 information security specialists, and/or customer as appropriate to perform further investigation and resolution.


  • Participate in security incident management and vulnerability management processes
  • Works as part of a team to ensure that corporate data and technology platform components are safeguarded from known threats
  • Communicate effectively with customers, teammates, and management
  • Provide input on tuning and optimization of security tools
  • Follow ITIL practices regarding incident, problem and change management
  • Document and maintain customer build documents, security procedures and processes
  • Staying up to date with emerging security threats including applicable regulatory security requirements
  • Other responsibilities and additional duties as assigned by the security management team Lead
  • Coordinate with Stakeholders and resolve technical problems
  • Determine how security incident occurred
  • Responsible for incident report
  • Perform initial investigation in response to security alerts
  • Basic Security Investigation, documentation and reporting an information security issue
  • Flexible to work in any working hour and ok with 24*7 Environment
  • Candidate Should have basic knowledge of Network and Network Protocol, Routing, Switching, IP addressing / Subnet, OSI model, Packet Flow at different OSI layers, Wireshark, Network Packet Capture and Analysis
Ensuring that all incidents, alerts, and exceptions are responded to in accordance with established proceduresRequired Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • B. Tech / B.E in Electrical Engineering/ Electronic and Communication/ Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering / Network Technology / IT / Computer Science & Engineering.
  • 2 Years in SOC Environment (Cyber Security/Security Operations/SOC) and GRC compliance experience
  • Good understanding on the Security Operations (SIEM, IDS / IPS, Antivirus, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, File Integrity Monitoring, Etc.)
  • Good understanding on Security Incidents and Response, Threat Hunting, and Intelligence process
  • Good Communication and Analytical skills
  • Good command over MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word, is an optional requirement
  • Prefer ITIL and Security Certification
