As aUI Architect you will be responsible for ensuring the success ofour retail and B2B customers by applying your engineering expertiseand domain knowledge.

Top 5 responsibilities

  1. Architect Develop anddeploy frontend features.
  2. Collaborate closely with designerstechnical leads application architects software developers DevOpsengineers and business stakeholders to deliver the optimalsolution.
  3. Must have a deep understanding of web service technologies(HTTP REST JSON) and design principles.
  4. Able to research andadopt new technologies quickly in a very dynamic workingenvironment.
  5. Recommend processes services software and othertools to support business objectives pertinent to user interfacesas well as infrastructure technologies.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with consumingserviceoriented architecture layers and APIs.
  • Good experience with highlyscalable applications.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams throughout the design anddevelopment phases to guarantee compliance with UI architecturalstandards and best practices.
  • Adept with core development design and direction ofapplication architecture and alignment of architecture withbusiness.
  • Extensiveknowledge in JavaScript Design & Architectural Patterns.
  • Design and develop proofof concept prototypes for advanced features and designs.
  • Evaluate and improve softwaredevelopment and delivery processes with an emphasis on performanceoptimization approaches.
  • Providing technical oversight and performing code reviewsfor multiple development efforts.
  • Up to date with latest news and technologies aboutFrontend and Backend.
  • Familiarity with OWASP security.
  • Experience of headless commerce implementation.
  • Create solutionrequirement document architectural artifacts and technical plans.
  • Excel in deliveringhighvalue solutions in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
  • Ensure documentstandards are effectively implemented by the development teams andunderstood by technology partners.
  • Advanced knowledge ofunit testing best practices and Continuous Integration processes(CI/CD).
  • Collaborateclosely with external clients product managers software developersand designers of multiple disciplines.
  • Promoting crossteam synergy and alignment tooptimize codesharing improve site performance and increase speed tomarket.
  • Mentor featureteams and remove technical impediments in UI development as sharedresource.
  • Provideoptimal solutions for independent deplorability of UIs like Microfrontends etc.
Qualifications

Top 5Qualifications

  1. Experiencein the following core languages: JavaScript HTML 5 & CSS.
  2. Strong skills in programming structures algorithms designpatterns and standard (W3C) Web UI APIs.
  3. Oriented to details andsoftware best practices & patterns.
  4. Experience with RESTfulbackend applications (like NodeJS/Express).
  5. Experience with GraphQLtools (like Apollo).

Other Qualifications

  • Masters or Equivalent Degree in CS/EE.
  • Overall 12 years of frontenddevelopment experience in clientside UI development.
  • Knowledge of the following types offrameworks/libraries/languages:

Web Application Platforms:

  • Experience with React or other Single PageApplication libraries.
  • ES6 TypeScript.
  • Async Module Definition (like AMD requireJS commonJS).
  • CSS PreProcessors (likeSASS LESS).
  • Applicationstate management (like Redux).
  • Reactive Programming (like RxJS).
  • Build tools like Webpack Gulp Grunt.
  • Minification Aggregation andFingerprinting (Gulp/Grunt).
  • Node (NPM).
  • Experience with frameworks for ServerSide Rendering(NextJS Express).
  • ServerSide Rendering (like Express).
  • API documentation using Swagger.

Platforms:

  • NoSQL (MongoDB Cassandra Redis).
  • Testing frameworks(Jasmine Karma Protractor).
  • Docker & Kubernetes CircleCI AWS Heroku.

  • Crossbrowser techniques.
  • Experience with different databases(SQL/NoSQL).
  • Experiencewith PWA (Progressive Web Apps).
  • Debugging with tools like (Chrome Dev Tools WebInspector).

  • Demonstrated skills using distributed code repositories(Git Perforce BitBucket) with code reviews.
  • Experience with UNIX systems and terminal.
