The main goal of this position is to provide both functional and technical assistance for the SAP SD module within the new RISE with SAP setting. After the new SAP system is up and running smoothly, the person in this role will collaborate with the Billing team and other departments to manage and address business needs effectively. This involves funneling demands, setting priorities, and creating detailed functional specifications and solution design documents, along with change management and training activities.


Key SAP Functional Skills:
  • Experienced in all SD aspects, such as defining and assigning Enterprise Structure, Master data, Pre-Sales, and Sales Order processing.
  • Proficient in areas like Sales Documents, Pricing, and Order Management.

Responsibilities:
  • Play a key role in business process design and provide functional solutions for various requirements.
  • Design, configure, and implement SAP functional modules.
  • Create functional specifications for various aspects like reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflow, and forms.
  • Test and implement SAP application software.
  • Identify issues and implementation opportunities using SAP knowledge and expertise.
  • Conduct testing throughout the project life cycle.

Functional Competency:
  • Thorough understanding of business processes linked to the SD module.
  • Knowledge of core modules like MM, FI, PS, etc.
  • Extensive post-implementation support experience.
  • Understanding of SD integration with other modules like FI, MM, PS, and PP.
  • Provide end-user training and documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or MBA.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP Certification in SD is a plus.

Behavioural Competency:
  • Excellent communication skills for regular interactions with internal users.
  • Self-initiator and innovative mindset.

Required Experience:
  • Experience in SAP S4 HANA implementation and post-implementation support.
  • Minimum 3-5 years as an SAP SD Consultant.
  • At least 3 years in the sales and marketing domain.
  • Experience in Requirements gathering, business process blueprint, Configuration, User Acceptance and Integration Testing, Training, Documentation, and Production support.
