The Senior Network Engineer is a key role in the organization, responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the network, supporting the overall operations and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing routing and switching solutions.
  • Deploying and maintaining Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) technologies.
  • Configuring and managing Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) for data center networking.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze network requirements and develop solutions.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for network infrastructure issues.
  • Implementing network security measures and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Monitoring network performance and optimizing network design for scalability and efficiency.
  • Participating in network capacity planning and expansion activities.
  • Documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Conducting regular network assessments and audits.
  • Assisting in evaluating new technologies and providing recommendations for enhancements.
  • Collaborating in the development and enforcement of network policies and procedures.
  • Contributing to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans related to network infrastructure.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior network engineering staff.
  • Participating in an on-call rotation and responding to network emergencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering and administration.
  • Proven expertise in routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Strong experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches and routers.
  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies and solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of ACI architecture and implementation.
  • Proficiency in network security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with ITSM, BMC Entuity, SNOW APM, and NPM tools.
  • Good understanding of VLAN, VTP, DTP, 802. 1Q trunk, STP, MSTP, BGP, OSPF, ACL, SNMP configuration, and Wi-Fi protocols.
  • Hands-on experience in managing MPLS network connectivity.
  • Experience in configuring and managing Cisco Viptela and Silverpeak SD-WAN solutions.
  • Experience working on Citrix Netscaler SLB or F5 SLB.
  • Experience in configuring VMware vSphere, NSX (NSX-V, NSX-T, T0/T1 routing, NSX load balancing, ACL policy configuration, etc.).
  • Experience using Wireshark, PACP analyzer.
  • Experience in preparing network schematics in Lucid charts/Visio.
