As a Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images and videos that meet the creative and technical requirements.

Whether working in a studio or on location, you will use your artistic vision, technical skills, and knowledge of photography equipment to produce compelling photographs that fulfil the objectives of various projects.

This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Production:

  • Collaborate with creative teams to understand project objectives, themes, and requirements.
  • Plan and organize photo shoots, including location scouting, model selection, wardrobe styling, and prop sourcing.
  • Develop shot lists and mood boards to guide the creative direction of the shoot.

Photography:

  • Set up and adjust camera equipment, lighting, and props to achieve desired effects.
  • Utilize various photography techniques, such as composition, lighting, and depth of field, to create visually compelling photographs.
  • Ensure that images adhere to the established style and brand guidelines.

Post-Production:

  • Edit and retouch images using photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to enhance colors, correct imperfections, and achieve the desired aesthetic.
  • Select and organize the best images from the shoot for further processing and delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients to review and finalize images, incorporating any feedback or requested adjustments.

Equipment Maintenance:

  • Maintain and calibrate photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories.
  • Ensure that equipment is properly stored, cleaned, and maintained to prolong its lifespan and optimize performance.
  • Stay updated on advancements in photography technology and equipment to continually improve skills and capabilities.

Client Management:

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations based on expertise and industry best practices.
  • Manage client relationships professionally, ensuring clear communication, timely delivery of deliverables, and exceptional service.
  • Portfolio Development and Marketing:
  • Curate and update a portfolio showcasing your best work across various genres and styles of photography.
  • Promote your services through online platforms, social media, networking events, and other marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams or agencies to develop promotional materials and campaigns to attract new clients and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Photographer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in various photography genres and styles.
  • Proficiency in digital photography techniques, equipment, and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong artistic vision, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
