Business Analytics Manager

About the role:
Gartner is seeking an experienced Business Analytics Manager to join our Conferences Team in Gurgaon. You will work with a globally distributed team to understand business needs and provide actionable insights, so collaboration skills are essential. You should also have experience managing a team, driving results with stakeholders plus great technical skills in SQL, Excel, Python. Conferences is a fast-paced organization and we're looking for someone who thrives in overcoming obstacles with a can-do-attitude.
The Business Analytics Manager role within Gartner's Conferences team is pivotal in shaping strategic decisions through data-driven insights. If you're a hands-on analytics manager with a talent for problem-solving and clear communication, we want to hear from you.
What you will do:
Lead a team and analyze data, delivering accurate insights. Drive projects independently, taking full ownership from initiation to execution, with a sharp focus on thorough execution and follow-through. Collaborate with colleagues to understand their needs and provide actionable insights. Tell compelling stories with data and solve complex business problems. Communicate clearly to senior stakeholders via PowerPoint and Power BI.What you will need:
At least 5-8 years of experience in business analytics, with 2 years of team management experience. Strong SQL, Excel, and Power BI (or similar Tableau, etc.) skills for data preparation and analysis. Experience with Python in a business environment. Ability to communicate effectively and present findings clearly. Proven track record of delivering actionable insights that drive business impact. Ability to thrive in ambiguous problem-solving situations, demonstrating agility and the ability to pivot quickly with changing business priorities.What you will get:
