We are in search of a skilled Hadoop Developer - Data Engineer to architect, build, and manage our large data environment.

The perfect candidate should have a solid foundation in the Hadoop ecosystem, be adept in different data integration and processing tools, and possess familiarity with Java Spring Boot applications.

This role requires close collaboration with data analysts, data scientists, and other relevant parties to guarantee the efficiency, dependability, and scalability of our data solutions.


Skill Set:
  • Hadoop expertise including MapReduce, Apache Spark, Hive, JDBC/ODBC connectors, Impala, and MongoDB databases.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Hadoop ecosystem tools like MapReduce, Apache Spark, and Hive.
  • Execute data integration solutions using JDBC/ODBC connectors to ensure smooth data flow among systems.
  • Enhance and optimize performance of Hadoop clusters for efficient handling of large data volumes.
  • Establish and oversee data warehousing solutions utilizing Hive, Impala, and other tools.
  • Utilize databases like MongoDB for integrating and managing unstructured data.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to grasp data requirements and deliver suitable data solutions.
  • Uphold data security, integrity, and governance policies throughout all data engineering processes.
  • Tackle and resolve issues related to data processing and storage.
  • Supervise Hadoop cluster performance, job execution, and resource utilization.
  • Deploy and maintain Java Spring Boot applications on Tomcat/Java servers ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Hadoop Developer or Data Engineer specializing in the Hadoop ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in MapReduce, Apache Spark, Hive, JDBC/ODBC connectors, and related technologies.
  • Experience with data integration utilizing JDBC/ODBC connectors and knowledge of Impala and other data warehousing solutions.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and skilled in Java Programming language.
  • Knowledgeable in data modeling, data architecture, and data governance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in deploying and managing Java Spring Boot applications on Tomcat/Java servers.
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
Knowledge of other big data technologies such as Kafka, Flume, and HBase.Certification in Hadoop or relevant technologies.
