Responsibilities:


MUST understand AWS EC2.MUST have expert level understanding of AWS EKS along with add-ons Installation, upgrade, Patching and Backup and Recovery Procedures.

MUST be able to define SOPs. for Platform Monitoring and Maintenance.
MUST have expert level understanding of Kubernetes.
Preferably AWS Certified.
MUST understand ISTIO service mesh and be able to install, configure and maintain the service mesh, ingress and egress.
MUST understand how to create Error Budgets and Manage, Monitor and Alert on them.
Must be able to create HELM Charts or K8s Manifests for Stateful Stateless, Deployments, PODS, Services, Secrets and configMaps.
MUST be able to create and Manage CRD based K8 Operators and Applications.
MUST understand Microservice Architectures as well as Deploying , Maintaining and monitoring them on K8s.
MUST be able to work using a ticketing system such as SNOW, JIRA etc.
MUST understand problem management and implementation of the same.
MUST be able to do Capacity Planning, Forecasting and Management . Should have a general understanding of FinOps.
MUST be able to produce Weekly and Monthly Platform health reports and Improvement plans.
MUST have an understating of installing and Managing K8s Apps and Controllers.
MUST be able to Collaborate with AWS support and engineering teams for complex issue and product related issues resolution.

MUST have understanding on CrowdStrike (Runtime Image Scanner).MUST have expert level understanding of Dynatrace Monitoring tool (APM).MUST be able to understand the VA scan reports provided by Project and DevSecOps teams.

MUST be able to Administer Apigee X within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
MUST be able to Integrate Apigee X with other Google Cloud services, such as IAM, BigQuery, and Cloud Logging.

MUST be able to Manage IAM roles and permissions specific to Apigee X.MUST be able to Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

MUST be able to understand and maintain the ApigeeX platform and GCP services/ components deployed with Terraform (GCP provider).MUST be able to Create New ApigeeX Environments, Environment Group and Mapping using Terraform.

MUST be able to support Partner onboarding and integration.
MUST be able to manage Server and client certificates.
MUST be able to address platform vulnerabilities reported by ITSEC Team.
MUST be able to Troubleshoot Apigee platform issues.
MUST be able to Collaborate with Google Cloud support and engineering teams for complex issue resolution.
MUST be able to Stay updated with the latest features and best practices for Apigee X and Google Cloud.
MUST be able to Implement continuous improvement processes for API management and platform administration.
