A minimum of 5 years ofexperience in designing structural components related to Turbomachinery products including Enclosures Base frames Ancillarycomponents and validate them to meet the specific requirement. Thisrole provides engineering support for new product development andoperational optimization as required to maximize their availabilityand reliability.
Roles andResponsibilities:

  • Mechanical design packaging system designequipment layout design knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge on Structural materialproperties and their performance considering offshore & Onshoreapplication.
  • Responsibilities includescreating design layouts and concepts for the structural componentsto meet design and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and cancollaborate with cross functional teams to implement variousimprovement / changes / suggestions.
  • Shouldapply practical design considerations and utilize technicalknowledge to achieve design objectives relative tomanufacturability cost quality and durability.
  • Continuously challenges selfskills in functional area andstays current with industry developments in ones field ofexpertise.
  • Become part of the product team andform close working relationships by understanding the whole systemfunction and presenting solutions and design direction to thedesign community in an insightful and timely manner.
  • Work with team to prioritize work and drive systemsolution by clearly articulating business needs.
Qualification:
  • Bachelors Engineering degree in Mechanical with minimumof 5 years of relevant experience in Turbomachinery / Oil and GasIndustries.
  • Hands on experience ofpreparing general arrangement & overall equipment layout in 2Das well as 3D.
  • Expert on AutoCADSoftware.
  • Hands on experience of creating 3Dassemblies/Models/Drawings (CREO is our preferred tool).
  • Ability to handle Large Assembly anddetailing/drafting the same.
  • Read andinterpret the P&ID is an added advantage.
  • Experience to handle engineering changes in product lifecycle. (Preferably in Windchill).
  • Exposure towork with standards like EN/DIN/ISO/ASME or other European/Americanstandards.
  • Basic knowledge in GeometricDimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Strong communication presentation anddocumentation skills.
