As a Principal Architect for R&D is to access the market trends and bring innovative solutions to solve the business / technology problems at FedEx

Along with this, as a Principal Architect it is expected to work with different architects and fully align on the functional and technical runway from the organization level

  • Innovator of SaaS Solutions: Spearheaded the design and implementation of cutting-edge Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Cloud Platform Expert: Possess extensive expertise in leading cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Hands-On Development Champion: Engage hands-on in developing critical platform components to ensure both viability and optimal performance.
  • Continuous Learner: Stay abreast of evolving technologies and industry best practices, including emerging trends like Generative AI (Gen AI).
  • Foundation in Enterprise Applications: Possess a solid foundation in core enterprise applications, particularly within Supply Chain Management frameworks.
  • Lifecycle Management Expert: Proficient across all phases of the application design and development lifecycle, implementing best practices for efficient project management and delivery.
  • Tech trend Integration Specialist: Demonstrated success in identifying and integrating the latest technology trends in the Supply Chain or Logistics domain into enterprise solutions.
  • Code Collaboration Enthusiast: Proficient in writing a diverse range of codes on GitHub / GitLab and willing to share code repositories prior to interviews.
  • No-Code / Low-Code Platform Delivery: Proven track record in successfully delivering No-Code and Low-Code platforms, demonstrating innovation and adaptability in solution delivery.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Engineering Leader: Collaborated closely with engineering teams to translate architectural blueprints into actionable and deployable solutions.
  • Innovative Problem Solver: Identify recurring patterns in application development challenges and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and code quality.
  • Strategic Data Modeler: Provide strategic guidance in the development of application data models, prioritizing data integrity and scalability.
  • Champion of Innovation: Cultivate a culture of innovation and excellence within the architecture team, fostering creativity and continuous improvement.
  • New Technology Trends Adaption : Spend atleast 50% of bandwidth in assessment and introducing new technology trends from market into FedEx
  • Reusable Architecture Models : Design and Develop solid roadmap for the reusability of common modules across Organization
